Artificial Intelligence and Digital Creativity

✍️ Dr. Arjun D. Jadhav

The rapid growth of Artificial Intelligence (AI), generative AI, and digital media is reshaping how literary and creative texts are produced, shared and experienced. Writing once centred on print now extends into digital storytelling, blogs, social media, multimodal composition, interactive narratives, AIgenerated characters and immersive environments. This article explores the evolving relationship between AI and digital creativity, focusing on the transformation of literary expression and the shifting roles of writers and readers. Using a qualitative and analytical approach, it draws on the source chapter AI and Digital Creativity and scholarship on multimodality, electronic literature, and generative AI. The present research article argues that digital technology expands rather than replaces creativity, offering new forms and participatory possibilities. AI supports brainstorming, character building, dialogue, and interactive storytelling, but raises concern about authorship, originality, bias and ethics. A humancentred model is proposed, positioning AI as collaborator while safeguarding imagination, responsibility and cultural sensitivity.

The Theme of Love and Sacrifice in Chetan Bhagat’s Revolution 2020

✍️ Alhat Ravindra Robert

Chetan Bhagat’s Revolution 2020 is a contemporary Indian English novel that explores the interconnected themes of love, ambition, friendship, corruption, education, morality, and social inequality. At the centre of the narrative is Gopal Mishra, a young man whose personal experiences are shaped by academic failure, financial difficulties, ambition, romantic desire, and moral compromises. His relationship with Aarti Pradhan becomes one of the most significant forces influencing his emotional and psychological development. This research paper examines Gopal’s character primarily through the concepts of love and sacrifice. Gopal’s love for Aarti is initially characterized by emotional attachment, possessiveness, insecurity, and jealousy. His desire to win Aarti’s affection is complicated by his rivalry with Raghav, whose idealistic approach to life contrasts sharply with Gopal’s pragmatic and materialistic outlook. As the narrative progresses, however, Gopal’s understanding of love undergoes a significant transformation. His experiences of failure, guilt, corruption, and emotional suffering eventually lead him towards self-realization and sacrifice. The paper argues that Gopal’s sacrifice is not simply an act of romantic surrender but an important stage in his moral and emotional development. His willingness to place Aarti’s happiness above his own desire demonstrates a movement from possessive love toward a more mature understanding of love as freedom, acceptance, and selflessness. Through Gopal, Bhagat presents a complex representation of contemporary youth caught between emotional desires, material ambitions, social pressures, and moral responsibilities.

Metal Organic Framework Nanocomposites for Photocatalytic Removal of Emerging Pollutants

✍️ Patil Shubham Nilesh

Emerging pollutants (EPs), encompassing pharmaceuticals, personal-care products, endocrine-disrupting chemicals, and industrial biocides, represent an urgent environmental threat owing to their aquatic persistence and toxicological hazard at trace concentrations. Metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) possess extraordinarily high specific surface areas, highly regular crystalline porosity, and tunable coordinative environments, making them exceptional candidates for advanced oxidation technologies. This paper investigates the solvothermal synthesis, nanocomposite assembly, and solar-driven photocatalytic performance of a representative Fe-based MOF/semiconductor system—MIL-101(Fe)/TiO₂—toward the degradation of ciprofloxacin (CIP) as a benchmark antibiotic. Under simulated solar light irradiation, an optimized 20 wt% MIL-101(Fe)/TiO₂ nanocomposite delivers 93–95% CIP removal within 120 minutes, vastly exceeding pristine TiO₂ (42%) and pure MIL-101(Fe) (54%). Reaction kinetics follow pseudo-first-order modeling with an apparent rate constant of k_app = 0.022 min⁻¹. Synergistic enhancement arises from favorable bandgap alignment, facilitated spatial charge separation of photogenerated electron–hole pairs, and preconcentration within MOF micropores. Operational parameters (catalyst dosage, solution pH, matrix ion effects), reusability stability across 5 successive cycles, mechanistic radical scavenging (•O₂⁻ and •OH), and environmental safety workflows are comprehensively detailed.

The Future of Artificial Intelligence: Trajectories, Opportunities and Challenges

✍️ Mr. Somesh Dhake

Machine intelligence has moved a long way from its origins as an academic curiosity. It now touches how we work, how we are diagnosed at the doctor's office, and how businesses make strategic decisions. This research article examines where artificial intelligence seems to be heading: the rise of generative systems that can act in the physical world, and the still-unresolved question of whether artificial general intelligence (AGI) is achievable. Along the way, it weighs the upside (better healthcare, faster scientific discovery, more efficient economies) against the harder challenges: structural workforce displacement, algorithmic bias, and the open challenge of value alignment. The central argument is straightforward: AI's future is not predetermined by the technology alone; it will be fundamentally shaped by the choices societies make regarding governance, ethical deployment, and accountability.

English and Indian Literature: A Study of Cultural Identity, Language, and Representation

✍️ Prof. Sharmishtha Balkrishna Borude

Indian English literature has developed into one of the most vital and independent branches of world literature, reflecting the complex historical, social, and cultural realities of modern India. Writers in India have adapted English not merely as a medium of communication but as an expressive instrument to articulate indigenous sensibilities, philosophical traditions, and postcolonial struggles. Examining canonical authors including R. K. Narayan, Mulk Raj Anand, Raja Rao, Anita Desai, Shashi Deshpande, Salman Rushdie, and Arundhati Roy, this study evaluates the intersections of cultural identity, linguistic nativization, and gender representation. It demonstrates that Indian writing in English is not a subservient offshoot of British literature, but a distinctive, polyphonic tradition that enriches global literary discourse.

Enhancing English Language Learning Skills through Innovative and Learner-Centred Approaches

✍️ Prof. Landage Swapnil Shivaji

In today's interconnected global landscape, English has established itself as the indispensable lingua franca of international diplomacy, higher education, scientific research, and commerce. Proficient acquisition of English requires balanced, integrated mastery over the four foundational language learning skills: Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing (LSRW). Traditional pedagogies frequently emphasize rote memorization and passive grammar rules, leaving learners hesitant and communicatively inhibited. This paper explores innovative, learner-centered methodological strategies designed to cultivate active communicative competence. It examines the natural sensory hierarchy of language acquisition—advancing from receptive audio-oral immersion (Listening) to spontaneous spoken output (Speaking), consolidated by comprehensive textual engagement (Reading) and structured, creative composition (Writing). Practical classroom techniques—including audiovisual immersion, conversational self-talk, substitution tables, guided drills, and creative expression—are analyzed to demonstrate how empowering learner agency creates lasting language proficiency.

Beyond the Catch: The Creation–Preservation Gap and Strategic Adaptation in Ernest Hemingway’s The Old Man and the Sea

✍️ Sunil Sahebrao Patil

Ernest Hemingway’s Nobel Prize-winning novella The Old Man and the Sea has traditionally been celebrated as an allegory of existential struggle and human dignity. This article proposes a novel interdisciplinary analysis by examining the narrative through the lens of strategic management, specifically integrating the Resource-Based View (RBV), dynamic capabilities, and value creation–capture theories. The study introduces two original conceptual formulations: the Creation–Preservation Gap—the systematic divergence between an actor's capability to generate or capture value and the capability to preserve that value against subsequent environmental hazards—and the Protective Resource Deficit, wherein the acquisition of a high-value asset immediately creates severe defensive vulnerabilities without conferring proportional protective resources. Through a structured qualitative textual analysis of Santiago’s journey, the paper demonstrates how tacit experiential knowledge enables dynamic adaptation under extreme physical and resource depletion. Ultimately, the study argues that organizational strategic performance must be evaluated across the full value lifecycle rather than merely at the point of initial capture, offering vital managerial lessons for navigating vulnerable asset positions.

Libraries in the Age of Artificial Intelligence: Advantages and Challenges

✍️ Mhankale Komal Sunil

Libraries have traditionally been regarded as centres of knowledge, learning, research, and intellectual development. In the age of artificial intelligence, the library is expanding beyond the physical collection of books and printed documents into an intelligent, digitally supported learning ecosystem. Automated systems can assist libraries in information retrieval, cataloguing, classification, recommendation services, translation, digitisation, and scholarly research support. At the same time, AI introduces serious challenges concerning accuracy, reader privacy, copyright, algorithmic bias, academic integrity, and digital inequality. Libraries are uniquely positioned to serve as centres of critical AI and information literacy. The future library represents a balanced synergy of human professional judgment, technological innovation, and enduring democratic access to knowledge.

A Comparative Study of English and Indian Literature: Themes, Traditions and Cultural Intersections

✍️ Shraddha Sudhir Naik

The comparative study of English and Indian literature illuminates how two profound literary traditions—one rooted in European historical epochs and the other in ancient multilingual civilization—interacted through colonial encounter, cultural negotiation, and postcolonial emancipation. Rather than portraying Indian English literature as a passive derivative of Western canons, this study demonstrates how Indian writers creatively appropriated English genres, adapting linguistic idioms and narrative structures to articulate distinctly Indian spiritual, social, and political realities. Spanning classical European movements (Renaissance, Romanticism, Victorian realism, Modernism) and Indian traditions (ancient epics, Bhakti and Sufi mysticisms, postcolonial fiction), the paper comparatively analyzes core themes: identity construction, colonial hegemony, the dialectic between tradition and modernity, nationalism, gender representation, and social stratification. The findings underscore that cross-cultural literary intersections transcend unilateral influence, producing dynamic hybrid spaces that continually revitalize global world literature.

Thematic Analysis in Educational Research: A Systematic Tool for Qualitative Research

✍️ Dr. Amol Mandekar and Dr. Gulabrao Rathod

Qualitative educational research generates vast, rich corpora of descriptive data through classroom observations, in-depth interviews, policy documents, and reflective journals. Thematic Analysis (TA) represents a foundational, versatile qualitative method for systematically identifying, analyzing, and reporting recurring patterns of meaning across qualitative datasets. This article provides a comprehensive methodological roadmap tailored for educational researchers. It delineates core conceptual terminology (codes, categories, candidate themes), compares the three major paradigms of TA (Coding Reliability, Codebook, and Reflexive Thematic Analysis), articulates Braun and Clarke’s recursive six-phase analytical framework, and illustrates execution through an educational case study of first-year university transitions. Furthermore, criteria for establishing qualitative trustworthiness (credibility, transferability, dependability, confirmability) and emerging integrations of AI-assisted qualitative coding are critically evaluated.

Language Variation as a Reflection of Social Identity: A Sociolinguistic Study of Selected Indian English Novels

✍️ Mhankale Sunil Yakob

Language functions not merely as an instrument of informational transfer, but as a primary index of social stratification, institutional power, and collective identity. In multilingual postcolonial societies such as India, sociolinguistic variation mirrors complex hierarchies of caste, class, gender, and regional allegiance. This paper presents a comparative sociolinguistic analysis of four landmark Indian English novels: Mulk Raj Anand’s Untouchable (1935) and Coolie (1936), contrasted with Shobhaa Dé’s Socialite Evenings (1989) and Starry Nights (1991). Drawing upon sociolinguistic frameworks by Labov, Gumperz, and Halliday, the study investigates how phonetic loan-translations, abusive registers, honorifics, and literal idioms in Anand’s subaltern fiction dramatize the violence of caste oppression and economic vulnerability. In sharp contrast, Dé’s fiction captures the ostentatious, Westernized urban elite of post-liberalization Mumbai through sophisticated code-switching, English-Hindi hybridization (Hinglish), and performative colloquialisms. The comparative investigation traces the dramatic evolution of Indian English from an instrument of social protest against caste marginalization into a vehicle for metropolitan status display and commercial popular culture.
